My head spun. Was I in some sort of time warp? Had something occurred in the last week or so since my last foray into Target that would result in time travel?
Because honestly, Lord knows I'm not in the least bit fashionable, but time travel is the only excuse for why these are making a comeback.
But wait! It got worse! How?
Well what about these little numbers?
And as if my hips need padding, this style is also making a comeback.
Even in the sweater section, I wasn't safe from flashbacks. I started to wonder if someone had slipped a little something in my fruit smoothie.
Because really, what other explanation is there for these?
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go huddle in a corner and remember, "This too shall pass."

Don't shoot me but from the front I'm built like a boy, I NEED those peplin skirts. ...What they do to my ass, well, that's collateral damage...or right up my guy's alley.
I don't even know what to say. Maybe I will not have to worry about going over my fall shopping budget after all . . .

There are a few things I really thought would never, ever make a comeback and I have to say 80's fashion is one! Do we never learn!!!!! Lol!
Oh my gosh! I used to have a pair of flowery jeans similar to the ones above. They were cool in 1985. But, now ... notsomuch. Those clothes are terrible. At least the pants on the bottom don't have stirrups though! Hopefully you won't see any Bill Cosby sweaters the next time you go shopping.

Same here! I was hoping, before I saw them up close, that the dresses were more Joan Harris and less Joan Jett. Not so much.
And it makes me feel so old that I remember it the first time around!
OMG! I forgot Bill Cosby sweaters. They're going to make a come back with the hipsters who will wear them ironically.
