I had to agree. Looking around the yard, mommies wore dresses while daddies wore ties. The little girls were in party frocks and the boys sported button ups.
Because when that almost three year old is Elizabeth, everyone toes the line.
For Elizabeth's birthday this year, she asked that we do a tea party. And when her Aunt Melissa bought her a delicious concoction of cherry printed ruffles, we knew it was going to be a red and white cherry flavored affair.
The girls wore fascinators.
We set up in the back yard.

And, of course, there was the food. From scones to tarts to cherry topped cupcakes.
And Elizabeth reigned over it all in her pretty party dress.

As the mom of a girly-girly-girl, I love this so much.
as the mom of two boys (who would absolutely LOVE this kind of party, oh how they would love it) I am just smiling with the sweetness...her dress, those cupcakes, the whole theme just made me want to be there.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MONTH beautiufl little girl.
Thanks! It was fun to throw.
